JINEX 6130
JINEX6130 is a polyisobutene polymer. JINEX6130 is a stable non-drying liquid and does not form a residue when volatilized or thermally decomposed at high temperatures. JINEX6130 is resistant to oxidation, impermeable to water vapour and is hydrophobic. JINEX6130 is also used in lubricant, adhesive, rubber, electric insulation, etc.

Handling Precautions/Toxicity
When handling this product a MAXIMUM temperature of 110℃ should be observed for storage, unloading and blending. However, it is strongly recommended that for long term storage,Nitrogen blanketing is recommended at storage temperatures above 80℃.

2.Composition/information on ingredients
The composition of this product is not hazardous as defined above.
3.Hazards identification
Potential flammability and explosion hazard:
Low hazard. Material can form flammable mixtures or can burn only upon heating to temperatures at or above the flash point.
Toxic gas will form upon combustion.
4.First aid measure
Eye contact:
Flush eyes with large amount of clean water until irritation subsides. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Skin contact:
First aid is normally not required.
Remove grossly contaminated clothing and shoes before reuse.
For hot product, immediately immerse in or flush the affected area of the skin with large amounts of cold water to dissipate heat and reduce the extent of thermal burns. Solidified product may be removed from the skin by gently rubbing with either a pharmaceutical grade mineral oil or a food grade vegetable oil.
Inhalation:
Using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the affected victim from exposure. Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped. Keep at rest. Call for prompt medical attention.
Ingestion:
First aid is normally not required.
5.Fire-fighting measures
Fire fighting:
Use water spray to cool fire exposed surfaces and to protect personnel.
Isolate fuel supply from fire.
Use foam, dry chemical, or water spray to extinguish fire.
Respiratory and eye protection required for fire fighting personnel.
Hazardous combustion products:
Fumes, smoke, CO, and CO2.
6.Accidental release measures
Land spill:
For small spills implement cleanup procedures: cover spilled liquid with sand or earth. For large spills, recover by pumping or with a suitable absorbent.
If liquid is too viscous for pumping, scrape up with shovels or pails.
Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations.
Water spill:
Warn other shipping. Notify port or relevant auhority and keep public away.
Shut off source if possible to do without hazard. Confine if possible.
Remove from surface by skimming or with suitable absorbents.If allowed by local authorities and environmental agencies sinking and/or suitable dispersant may be used in non-confined waters.
Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations.
7.Storage and handling

Compatibility with plastic materials can vary; we therefore recommend that compatibility is tested prior to use.
Storage and handling:
Keep container closed. Handle containers with care. Open slowly to control possible pressure release. Store in a cool, well-ventilated place away from incompatible materials.
Do not handle or store near an open flame, sources of heat or sources of ignition. Protect material from direct sunlight.
This material is not a static accumulator, but use proper grounding procedures.
Do not pressurize, cut, heat, or weld containers. Empty product containers may contain product residue. Do not reuse empty containers without commercial cleaning or reconditioning.
8.Exposure controls and personal protection
Engineering control measures/Ventilation:
Ventilation should be provided to control worker exposures and prevent health risk.
Personal protection:
For open systems where contact is likely, wear safety glasses, chemical resistant gloves and dressed in working uniforms and rubber boots.
Where contact may occur with hot materials, wear thermal resistant gloves and a face shield.
Where over exposure by inhalation may occur and engineering, work practice or other means of exposure reduction are not adequate. Approved respirators may be necessary.

Negligible hazard at ambient(-18 to 38 deg C) or recommended blending temperature.
Avoid breathing vapours or mists.

Expouse to hot material may cause themal burns and adhesion of thesolidified product to the skin.

Will cause slight eye discomfort, but will not injure eye tissue.

13.  Disposal considerations

Empty drums should in any case be taken to ensure compliance with local regulations.
This product is not suitable for disposal by either landfill or via municipal sewers, drains, natural, steams or rivers.
This product is ashless and can be burned directly in appropriate equipment.
This product is suitable for energy recovery in appropriate incinerators.
14.  Other information
Nitrogen blanketing is recommended at long time storage temperatures above 80℃.
Tanks should have adequate agitation to avoid excessive tank skin temperatures. Tank skin temperatures should not exceed 190℃. Overheating may cause product decomposition to butene and subsequently create a flammability hazard. Decomposition at high temperatures can also be catalyzed by iron or rust. All tank, lines, and fittings, should be clean and free of rust to minimize potential for producing flammable decomposition products.
In addition, dry conditions are essential since water may promote rapid foaming in the tank with the possibility of foam over.
